The role

Our systems, our tests, and our field trials generate a lot of data: sensor logs, test results, simulation runs, and telemetry from real deployments. Turning that into insight is how we learn what is working, where the weaknesses are, and what to build next. As our Data Scientist, you will own analytics across Swiftstrike, making sense of our data and turning it into decisions the whole company can act on.

You will work close to the systems and the people building them, with questions that matter and data that is real, messy, and high-stakes.

What you'll do

• Analyse data from our systems, tests, simulation, and field trials to understand how they perform and where they fail.
• Turn raw sensor logs, telemetry, and test results into clear, trustworthy answers.
• Build the pipelines, tooling, and dashboards that make our data usable across the team.
• Design and evaluate the metrics that tell us whether the system is getting better.
• Partner with engineers to close the loop between what we measure and what we build.
• Bring statistical rigour to questions where the answer has real consequences.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in data science or analytics on real, messy, real-world data.
• Fluency in Python and its data stack, such as pandas and NumPy, and in SQL.
• Solid statistics: you know when a result is real and when it is noise.
• The ability to turn ambiguous questions into concrete analysis, and analysis into clear recommendations.
• Comfort building your own data pipelines and tooling.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with sensor data, time-series, or signal-heavy data, such as electro-optical, RF, or acoustic.
• Machine learning for evaluation, detection, or prediction.
• Experience with large-scale data infrastructure.
• A background from the armed forces or from defence.
• Swedish language skills.
