About Swiftstrike
Swiftstrike is a Swedish defence-technology company. We build hardware and the
AI software that runs it, from edge to command. Our products are developed with
experienced operators and refined through real-world field testing, and everything
we build is designed to be cost-effective at scale and priced for fielding in numbers.
The role
Swiftstrike delivers integrated systems (hardware, software, and the trials that
prove them) to defence organisations, system integrators, and partners across
NATO and allied nations. As our Technical Project Manager, you will run these
delivery programmes end to end: planning milestones across mechanical, electronics,
and software teams, coordinating with customers and partners, and getting systems
and people to field trials on time.
This is a technical role: you read schematics and system diagrams as readily as
plans. You will sit between the engineering team and customers who need certainty,
and keep both sides informed.
What you'll do
- Own delivery programmes from contract to field acceptance, spanning hardware, software, and integration work.
- Plan and drive milestones across engineering disciplines, and manage the dependencies between them.
- Be the technical counterpart for customers, integrators, and partner companies across NATO and allied nations.
- Own requirements management and configuration control: what was promised, what was built, what was delivered.
- Plan and run the logistics of field trials and demonstrations: equipment, permits, sites, people.
- Manage supplier and partner commitments feeding into programme timelines.
- Turn operator and customer feedback into a prioritised roadmap together with the engineering team.
- Track risk and communicate status honestly, inside the company and out.
What we're looking for
- An engineering background (degree or equivalent). You can hold your own in deep technical discussions.
- 5+ years managing projects that combined hardware and software delivery, ideally toward demanding industrial or government customers.
- Proven ability to plan across disciplines: mechanics, electronics, software, and test.
- Excellent written and spoken communication. You translate between engineers, operators, and procurement.
- Enough process to be reliable, without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Willingness to travel within Europe for customer meetings and field trials.
- Professional fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience from the armed forces, the defence industry, or defence procurement processes.
- Experience combining agile engineering work with milestone-based customer contracts.
- Swedish language skills.
What we offer
- The programmes you run put protective systems in the hands of people who need them.
- Ownership of delivery in a small, senior team. You define how Swiftstrike ships.
- Direct exposure to customers, operators, and field trials across NATO and allied nations.
- An office in Stockholm, and work at the centre of Europe's defence build-up.
- Competitive compensation, including equity options, so you share in what we build.
Given the nature of our work, employment may be subject to a security review and
to citizenship or residency requirements applicable to Swedish defence industry.
We will discuss this openly during the process.
